I work from home most days, so morning rituals are important. This one’s simple but something I do almost daily. If I don’t have tea in the house, I make my own. Having a variety of herbs and citrus in the garden makes this easy.
Need:
- Boiling Water
- Honey (optional)
- Herbs (Mint, fresh or dried chamomile, lemon verbena, etc.)
- Lemon, lime or oranges
If you’re using honey, add it to the bottom of the mug first. The hot water will help it melt. The rest is easy…add hot water, steep the herbs and squeeze your citrus of choice.
Thanks to a close friend, I was given a packet of Chamomile seeds. Fingers crossed they germinate! I’d love to use them in tea, floral arrangements or maybe on top of a cake?! Thinking about growing Chamomile? This article is a good source on how to sow and care for the seeds.
