Kettle chips are at the top of my (unhealthy) snack list. I add them to snack boards, eat them with sandwiches or just have them straight out of the bag. While the flavor offerings have increased through the years (shout out Himalayan Salt and Avocado Oil flavor), there’s still some flavor profiles I think are missing.
To take a boring kettle chip to the next level, add some spices or fresh herbs. For these I used smoked paprika, garlic salt, salt, pepper, onion powder and rosemary. Curry would probably work well on these too.
To get the chips fully coated, I used a paper bag to shake them in. For serving, use individual bags or set them out in a pretty bowl.
It’s not rocket science or anything complicated, just a fun way to jazz up a plain chip with items in the pantry or herb garden.
